We’re thrilled to share that the Soodhasha Maha Ganapathy Yagam at Kuil Sri Sakthi Vinayagar, Fettes Park on 17/3/24 was an incredible success! Over 200 devoted souls, including esteemed members of the Penang Hindu Endowments Board, graced the occasion with their presence.
This traditional 16-step pooja, known as Shodasha Maha Ganapathy Yagam, holds immense significance. It’s a powerful ritual aimed at freeing us from worries, anxieties, and obstacles while ushering in happiness and peace.
By worshiping the 16 forms of Lord Ganapathy, corresponding to the 16 thithis of a lunar calendar, we cleanse our minds of negativity and find solace. Lord Ganapathy’s benevolent energies are said to be closest to us, especially in this age of Kali Yuga.
It’s believed that invoking the 16 names of Lord Ganapathy before embarking on any auspicious venture—be it in education, travel, or facing challenges—ensures victory and the removal of all obstacles.
