The Penang Hindu Endowments Board received a special invitation from the Shree Gangatharan Shiva Peruman Devotees Association to attend the groundbreaking ceremony (Piling Works) graced by YB Senator Dr. Lingesh RA , Ybhg. Dato’ J Dhina Dhina , and YB Kumaran Krishnan.
The 1-acre site, owned by PHEB, has been authorized for the construction of the Shree Gangatharan Shivaperuman Temple in Taman Bagan, Butterworth. The ceremony began with ‘Ganapathy Homa’ and ‘Vasthu Pooja’ before the piling and construction works commenced.
The filling work began at 11 am and was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests:

• Dato Seri R. Arunasalam
• Dato Parthiban, Chairman, Penang Indian Chamber of Commerce
• Datuk Dhina, Penang State Chairman, MIC
• Mr. Sri, Temple Engineer
We pray that Lord Shree Gangatharan Shiva Peruman blesses this groundbreaking ceremony and that the temple construction progresses smoothly until the ‘Kumbhabishegam’ day as planned.
