Pihak Lembaga Wakaf Hindu Pulau Pinang menjemput para penganut yang berhasrat untuk membawa Ratham Kavadi sempena sambutan Thaipusam 2026 agar mengemukakan permohonan melalui borang rasmi yang telah disediakan.

Permohonan ini bertujuan memastikan kelancaran perarakan, keselamatan peserta, serta pematuhan kepada garis panduan yang ditetapkan sepanjang sambutan perayaan suci ini.

Kerjasama dan sokongan semua pihak amat dihargai demi memastikan Thaipusam 2026 berlangsung dengan tertib, selamat dan penuh kesyukuran.

Terma & Syarat
1. Perarakan Ratham Kavadi hendaklah dijalankan mengikut semua peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh Pihak Kuil, Polis Diraja Malaysia dan Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan.
2. Perarakan hanya dibenarkan pada tarikh, masa dan laluan yang telah diluluskan. Sebarang perubahan memerlukan kelulusan bertulis.
3. Hanya peserta yang berdaftar dan diluluskan oleh pihak kuil dibenarkan menyertai perarakan.
4. Semua peserta hendaklah mematuhi arahan pihak kuil, polis dan pegawai RELA yang dilantik sepanjang perarakan.
5. Ratham Kavadi hendaklah selamat, kukuh dan mematuhi spesifikasi yang diluluskan. Objek berbahaya adalah dilarang.
6. Ketenteraman awam, keselamatan, laluan kecemasan dan kawalan orang ramai hendaklah sentiasa dijaga.
7. Tahap bunyi, trafik dan kebersihan hendaklah mematuhi peraturan pihak berkuasa.
8. Alkohol, dadah, mercun, api terbuka dan bahan berbahaya adalah dilarang.
9. Penyertaan adalah atas risiko sendiri. Pihak penganjur dan pihak berkuasa tidak bertanggungjawab atas sebarang kerugian akibat ketidakpatuhan.
10. Pihak berkuasa berhak menghentikan perarakan sekiranya keselamatan awam terjejas.

YB RSN Rayer, Jelutong, YB Lingeshwaran R Arunasalam , YB Kumaran Krishnan and Datuk Dhinagaran Jayabalan were present today to pay their final respects to the late Mr. Mogan Munianday.

As the caretaker of Jalan Siram Hindu Cemetery under the Penang Hindu Endowments Board, his dedication and service to the community were invaluable.He carried out his responsibilities with quiet commitment, dignity, and compassion, ensuring that the final rites of many were handled with respect and care.

Our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

May his soul rest in peace.

Penang Chief Police Officer, CP Dato’ Ts. Azizee bin Ismail, received an official courtesy visit from the Penang Hindu Endowments Board at the State Police Headquarters today.

The delegation was led by YB Senator Dr. Lingeshwaran R Arunasalam, Deputy Chairman of the Board, together with its commissioners and leadership team. The visit aimed to strengthen ties and enhance strategic collaboration between the Board and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), especially in community safety, harmony, and public well-being.

Both parties also exchanged views on current issues affecting the community and discussed shared responsibilities in maintaining safety and public order across Penang.

Also present were senior officers from PDRM’s various departments.

Following the courtesy visit, a meeting was held to discuss safety measures and preparations for the upcoming Thaipusam 2026, chaired by YB RSN Rayer, Jelutong
