We were honoured to welcome Mr. Bruce Berry, a respected vexillologist from Johannesburg, South Africa, to the Penang Indian Heritage Museum during his brief stopover en route to the United Kingdom.
Mr. Berry visited specifically to examine and verify our display of the 1951 Penang flag. Following a careful assessment, he confirmed the flag to be an original and exceptionally rare piece, possibly the only known example to survive in such remarkable condition.
We are deeply grateful for the insights he shared during his visit. His expertise and perspective on flag history added meaningful depth to our understanding of this important artefact.
Thank you, Mr. Bruce Berry, for your time, generosity, and passion for heritage. Your visit has truly enriched our museum.
