Deepest Condolences to The Family of The Late Trooper K. Indiran, Son of The Late Major C. Kayamboo

Deepest Condolences to The Family of The Late Trooper K. Indiran, Son of The Late Major C. Kayamboo

The Penang Hindu Endowments Board (PHEB) wishes to express our deepest condolences to the family of the late Trooper K. Indiran, son of the late Major C. Kayamboo, who lost his life in the recent incident involving a Malaysian Army trainee.

PHEB Vice Chairman, YB Senator Dr. Lingesh RA, attended the funeral on behalf of the Board to pay last respects and to show solidarity with the grieving family.

As an immediate gesture of support, PHEB has collectively agreed to waive all burial-related charges under our management to ease the family’s burden during this extremely difficult time.

During the visit, the family shared that the late Indiran had spoken to them on 17 February and appeared cheerful, as usual. They also stated that he had never reported any form of bullying.

Out of respect for the family, we strongly urge the public to give them space and avoid making unverified assumptions. Speculation only deepens their pain.
This tragedy is especially heavy for the family, who had earlier lost Major C. Kayamboo, an RMAF pilot who perished in a 2016 aircraft accident. Losing two loved ones in such circumstances is a profound grief that touches all Malaysians.

Let us keep the family in our thoughts and prayers, and allow the police investigation to conclude without public pressure or misinformation.

May the family be granted strength and peace during this time of great loss.
