Residents may begin collecting their Thaipusam 2026 Car Pass starting 24 January 2026 at Thanneermalai Shree Balathandayuthapani Devasthanam.

 Please remember to bring your identification for verification.

Thank you for your cooperation as we prepare for the festival season.

In conjunction with Thaipusam 2026, the office at Thanneermalai Shree Balathandayuthapani Devasthanam will operate on special hours from 17–30 January 2026.

 Morning: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
 Evening: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we manage the festival preparations and the large number of devotees during this period.

As we prepare for the sacred observance of Thaipusam 2026, devotees and the public are invited to take note of the key rituals and processions leading up to this auspicious day.

From Vel Irakkam and preparatory poojas to the Shakthi Vel Golden Chariot processions, each ceremony carries deep spiritual significance, culminating in the commencement of Poosam Nakshatram. Please refer to the schedule above for dates and timings.

 Devotees are encouraged to plan their participation accordingly and observe all rituals with reverence and discipline.
